Terry did a great job changing out our lock and making new keys. He arrived when expected, finished the work in a timely manner, and didn't try to upsell us. I would hire Henley's again.

Went all over trying to find a key service that could copy our travel trailers key. Henley's was prompt, professional, and super friendly. Will go here from now on for keys.

I had a similar experience to Katie H. I called and spoke to a lady and asked her if they could make a key for my THULE Ski Rack and I gave her the number on the lock. She said they could and that it would be $17.00. When I got there, there were two older gentlemen and they seemed kinda grumpy. The one who helped me went to the back for about 10 minutes and came back out with a key. He tried it on my ski rack and it worked perfect. He said, "Do you want 1 or 2 keys"? I said how much is 2? He said, "30 for 1 and 8 more for 2". I told him the lady on the phone said it would be 17. Then, a lady came around the corner out of nowhere and said, "No that was for a one sided key". I told them I had given her the replacement key code on the phone, but she was almost argumentative and said it would be 30. I said well, what are you gonna do with the key when I walk out of your store. The guy said, "trash it". So, I walked out. Then, I went home and found 2 keys on line for less than $7.00.

Awesome service! I purchased a used vehicle that didn't have the right key to work all of the locks. I took a lock cylinder to them without an appointment and they made a key with the perfect fit. I even went in a couple of weeks later to have them make the cuts for the ignition cylinder so that I could have one key for all locks, and within 10 minutes, he had the key working the ignition as well! Great service at a great price! Now I have one key for all of my locks and didn't have to purchase any new locks!

Called and asked specific questions about getting a key duplicated for a 2005 Jeep Liberty. Called the business and was told that it could be done in 15 minutes and would cost $60. Drove 30 minutes to the business only to be greeted by a very rude old man who yelled at me for parking in his lot, told me that it would take days to duplicate and would cost at least $300. Laughed at me when I told him that when I had called earlier, I was told a different story. Told me that's what I get for listening to the people that answer his phone. Thought it was funny that I was inconvenienced, not apologetic. People like him should not be in business. Use anyone else listed under this category. DO NOT USE HENLEY KEY SERVICE.

If I could give 0 stars, I would! If you have a choice not to use Henley's Key Service, DON'T use them. My experience started when I first pulled into the parking lot of their establishment. As soon as I got out of the car, an old man started yelling at me that I couldn't park there in a very rude manner. I said, excuse me? and he continued to state that if I was going into the pizza restaurant, that I could not park there. I told him that I wasn't going there and that I was going to Henley's Key Service and he went inside. I should have changed my mind then about using this business. He already started out by rudely yelling at a potential customer before he even knew where I was going! I live on the north end of Colorado Springs and this business is downtown. I had called earlier in the morning because I needed a transponder key made. I had been told by previous key services that I would have to send away to Jeep for a duplicate key and that it could not be copied by a regular key maker, so I wanted to make sure that I could indeed get a copy made before I made the 30 minute drive downtown. The nice lady that answered the phone told me that they did make transponder keys and asked for the year and make and model of my vehicle. She said that for my car, they would need to get a PIN number from a company to program the key. I asked her how long that would take and she told me approximately 15 minutes. She asked that I get there before 2 PM because the company that they contact to get the PIN number from closed at time and we would have to wait until the next day if I arrived after 2 PM. I asked her how much the key would cost to be made and she told me $60. She told me how to get to the business and told me which parking lot to park in, the same lot where I was greeted by the rude man. I go inside and the rude man comes to the counter. I ask to have the key made and he starts shaking his head. "It can't be made unless you have a lot of time and about $300." He told me that getting the PIN number takes a lot of time, and it costs about $100 just for the number. Then he tells me that it would be $300 for him to make the key and it couldn't be done in one day. I explained to him that I had called earlier in the morning and asked these questions specifically to save me a trip downtown if the key could not be made and I was told a different story. He asked me if a lady answered the phone. I told him yes, it was a lady. He then says to me, "Well that's what you get for listening to the person that answers the phone around here!" I was so taken aback by that terrible answer and his rude, unapologetic demeanor, that I just left without saying anything. When I was pulling out of the parking lot, I looked back at him and he was sitting in the parking lot with a smile on his face. I just can't believe that this person has a business in this town with that attitude and business practice. He was glad he had inconvenienced me and thought it was funny that a person at his business gave me wrong information on the phone. People like this do not deserve to be in business. Use someone else in town.

The technician was very kind, however, they did not tell me they were going to charge me $60.00 for a service visit on the initial phone call/appointment set up. After the technician told me he was going to charge me the unexpected $60.00, I called the store itself to verify and ask why the service charge was not revealed prior to appointment set up. The receptionist said, "Most people just don't ask..so we don't tell you about it." (ugg) I did ask for pricing on the initial call, but was only told the prices for making the keys themselves.... felt misleading. They were prompt, kind, and gave professional advise... just be aware of the charge when you book an appointment.

Everyone from the man who answered the phone, to the woman dispatcher to the service technician that did the work were first rate! All the folks at Henley's were polite and efficient and they came on the same day I called!

I have used Henley's on multiple occasions, and without fail, they are professional, courteous, and punctual. From emergency lockout help to key duplication and lockpicking, the service provided is top notch. Their prices are fair, if not very competitive, and their abilities are unmatched. I definitely recommend their service for all your lock and key needs!

I was quoted 150 to replace my ignition switch when I paid the price changed to $240. When I questioned that the lady on the phone who is very nice by the way, she said I had to speak to the technician. The technician came on the phone and tried to explain in a grumpy voice why the price went up. I still feel I should've been contacted to make the choice to pay the higher price. there was also a mixup on my credit card payment. They are very unorganized and entitled at this location I would not recommend using their services

The best. I walked in expecting it to be a drop off pick it up in a week situation. Fifteen minutes later I walk out with 2 new keys for a lock that we had no keys for. Insanely affordable. Friendly. Simply put: incredible all around.

In the past I've had great customer service with these folks, however I was told that 17 miles east of the springs is not their service area and had to trailer my car to them at a Walmart to get a key made. (lost mine, didn't have a spare) They arrived 30 minutes late to tell me they could NOT make a key for the car, unless they tore apart the trunk lock and that would be upwards of $300.00. On top of that I received a $15.00 service fee. This I totally understand if they had done anything or not showed up late!! I also didn't receive a receipt for the $15.00. Unprofessional. The person I asked numerous questions of on the phone could have told me a ball-park price or mentioned it would be a huge hassle. Went to a local dealership and they had one for me quick and under $70.00. I'd think twice before calling them again.

These guys rock! I took my wife's car to Freedom Honda because the key wouldn't turn in the ignition. Freedom Honda told me it would cost $540 to "rebuild" the ignition tumbler. This seemed outrageous so I called Henley's. Ended up paying $100! You read that right, $100. Great local business that has been around for decades.

Was locked out of my home last night and after searching online I came across these guys and saw they have been in business since the 40s. I had read so many bad reviews on lock smith's I wasn't sure what to expect. I was quoted 75 bucks for an after hours call on the north end of town and Mel showed up on time and within the price he quoted on the phone. Very professional and would recommend them to friends and family.

This service was EXCELLENT! Our front door and garage keys were changed in a very timely manner. Not only that, but the front door is now easier to unlock than it ever was with the previous lock. We used to have to kind of hit the door and lift it up. Now we just stick the key in and turn. Very impressed.

Tried for days to get ahold of somebody on the phone, left two messages before I just continued to call, never got called back. Answering machine doesn't identify the number as belonging to Wards so MAYBE that's the problem. Just the standard cell answering machine that says to leave a message for the caller.

Originally tried a kiosk locksmith and spent nearly 20 bucks on two keys that ended up not even working. Went to Mile High Locksmith and Lolly was able to make me keys that worked in less than 5 minutes for less than half the cost of those kiosks. I highly recommend this place for anyone who needs a spare!!!!

Charlie was very nice and good. I went to get a car key (no buttons). The key was perfect. Charlie did a thorough check before he made me pay, and he even threw in an extra key. I met him at his mobile workshop at a nearby parking lot. It was a friendly and positive experience overall.

Horrible customer service! They had to order key fob for my 2010 Lexus. I was told it would arrive in 3 days. A week later and three inquiry calls with no return calls as told- the key fob arrived. Customer service called and said the tech would arrive at 9:00am. Tech called at 9:30am and said he would arrive in one hour (10:30am). Tech called back at 10:15am stating that customer service had ordered the WRONG key fob! I called customer service AGAIN and asked to speak to a supervisor 3 times before the "customer service" agent said he would have a manager call me back! 30 minutes later "Joe" the supervisor called said he would have his tech go buy the correct key fob and would arrive between 1-2pm. Finally, this is getting resolved! Tech calls me at 12:30 and says he is outside my home. 8 days and over 5 phone calls!! NOT worth the run-around or headache!

Mile High Locksmith is the worst! I had them come out and they attempted to fix my front door lock. The technician then took the "guts" out of my lock and said he would get a new part and call me when he got it. Never heard back and when I called they told me they couldn't get the part, next call asked them to return the part to me (never did) , next call they said the part was to expensive ie $800! I asked them to have management call me x2 but have not received a call back. Would NOT recommend this company to anyone!

Beware customer, beware of this place who prey on people in a tough spot.Called for a simple battery jump and they said 20 min wait and $29 service charge plus the charge for a simple jump..Okay,cool. Over an hour later some dude shows up and spends literally 2 min to jump my battery.Charge...$130.I was floored by this blatant lie so steer clear of this company! .I will be filing compliant with BBB.

Was charged an amount significantly different from and higher than represented on web site. Over a period of three days and 5 phone calls, I have been trying to speak to someone to resolve this issue. However, a “manager” is always busy and promises to return my call. I am still waiting.

I could not remember what locksmith I had used and loved. I had about five in my phone. I have not had good luck with locksmiths so I had hoped this was the one I had liked before. I was wrong. They did come the next morning as I asked. The tech Roy was fine. I paid to have a key made for my key pad; I paid for one re-key; and then I paid for another re-key (two sides of the deadbolt they treated as two separate re-keys). Total for this work and the trip charge $260.00. He gave me two new keys for the key pad; he then would only give me two keys for the double sided deadbolt which he had charged me for two re-keys. Before when I had that deadbolt re-keyed I have always been give 2 keys for each re-key. I asked him for two keys for each re-key as i need to leave one key in the door, one on my keychain, and I need an extra one to keep elsewhere. He just smiled and said no. They don't do that. This company obviously was not I had before which I was looking for.

I requested service last month, and Mile High sent Simon (not an employee as they sub the work out). While I think he did a good job, I feel totally ripped-off with pricing and understanding my options. I was unfortunately dealing with moving, job challenges, then a family funeral and I just lost track of what he was doing. $1,600 for basically 3 installed electric locks and a couple of handles is outrageous. I could have purchased on Amazon for significantly less and paid a handyman far less for similar work. I honestly do appreciate having a professional do the job and that is why I contacted them, but I feel I was taken advantage of with his pricing. If Simon had mentioned that I had 3 days to return/replace if I wanted, I may have done so. I did follow-up with Mile High, but they never replied. I learned an expensive lesson with them.

Taking advantage of customers that are in a tough spot is not good business. I needed some assistance and they had a tech out in a lityle over an hour. Great, then I was quoted nearly $200 for the service and the tech said it could be more. I told him I needed some help as I was in a tough spot so if he could do the job quicker could he offer a lower price. He said yes. He went to work and got my door open in less than 5 minutes. Then said it'd be $185... The service call was only around $40 so that means he charged an exorbitant hourly rate to do his work. I understand businesses need to make money but this was unacceptable and why I'll be calling someone else in the future if I'm every in this situation again. I did call some other companies after to describ the situation and get their opinions, they said it was an overcharge...

The price was cheaper than other places i had called, so i decided to go with them. I am not too happy with the service i was provided though. When i called the dispatch had told me that i would have to order my fob key and that it would take about 4 days to arrive and that a technician would call me when it arrived to set up an appointment to have it programmed. After the initial call, dispatch kept calling me but were looking for someone by another name and with a different car. After correcting them, I was finally told that my key had arrived and that a tech would be able to come out the same day to program it. About 30 minutes before the scheduled time, dispatch called again and told me that there was no available technician and that they would have to reschedule for the next day. I understood and agreed to have them come the next morning. The next morning comes around and I get call from dispatch telling me that they were unable to come again because they did not have a key cutting machine ( I didn't need to have a key cut because my car uses a fob). Again i agreed to have them cut out the following Monday. When the technician arrives to meet me, he is very rude. He tells me the price is more than what i was originally quoted and is quick to get defensive when I tell him that wasn't what i was told by dispatch. He very snarkly replied "Dispatch does not know the exact price of jobs. You can either have us do it or you can go the dealership and have them charge a whole lot more." I agree to the price and he is able to program my key and also gave me a jump start. The technician takes my payment and rushes back to his truck. I stayed behind to make sure that it was properly activated and I notice that the buttons on the fob are not working. He sees me and noticed something is wrong but instead of coming back, he instead uses his finger to gesture that I walk over to his truck to explain what is wrong. After he googled what's wrong, he finally gets off of his truck and attempts to fix it. I will probably not be using this company again because of the lack of professionalism. I rather pay more money and have my time and myself be respected. Update: I would like to thank Jessica, who gave me a call to apologize about the situation and rectify. She was very helpful and apologetic about the experience I had in working with the company. She was very genuine. I'm not sure of her position in the company but she should be an example to all about customer service! I give her a five star review for sure!

I had a small keyed safe that I needed open to access some of my important documents for work on Monday. Of course I couldn't find my keys anywhere and it was 6pm on Sunday. I scheduled my appointment online (10% off) for 7pm. I didn't receive a call ~30 min before as listed on the site but after calling the toll free number and inquiring about my appointment, an employee called me back and gave me an accurate arrival time. It took him under 2 minutes to pick the lock on my safe. The bill was $120 for only a couple minutes of work (too high in my opinion) but it was great that they came to me and in such short notice. The man they sent was very polite and worked quickly. The price was steep but you can't beat the convenience and availability.

Updating this review as I have worked through a resolution with the management of this company. We came to a mutually agreed upon solution, and I am happy with the process of that resolution as well as the outcome. Amir reached out to me to talk through the issues I encountered, and he explained what the normal expectations for the business and employees are, and the mission of the company. I explained the specific reasons I felt that I was wrongfully charged, provided email conversations proving I was incorrectly charged, and we talked through both sides very calmly. He was extremely friendly and authentic, and I genuinely believe in the values he upholds with his company based on our conversation. Obviously in my case these values were not originally reflected in my experience with my technician and my specific branch of mile high locksmith. After talking with Amir, I trust that he will follow up with the appropriate parties in order to correct the pricing issues in the future. Due to the respect and discussion with Amir, I have changed my rating from 1 star to 3, I don't feel comfortable increasing my rating any higher as I did have to endure a relatively unpleasant experience originally with my technician and with the Denver management of Mile High Locksmith and I don't think that should be overlooked. I am sad I had to resort to writing reviews on social media to get the attention of their HQ, rather than being able to deal with it with my original contact. I'm glad I was able to resolve this by speaking with Amir.

They never got back with me. We purchased a new townhome, and the front door had a Schlage Sense smartlock -- it includes a keypad and a regular lock and key (just in case). The key had been lost. I called Mile High Locksmith. The dispatcher told me that the service call (to a nearby Denver address) would be $55; their web site says $29. He then stated that the lock is a bit complicated (the keyed part is not), and he would talk to someone and call me right back. I never received a return phone call. I then called Gustov at Alexius Denver's Locksmiths. He arrived in an hour and re-keyed the lock for a nominal charge.

I locked my keys in my car on the first night it seriously snowed in Denver and was outside freezing. Mile High Locksmith answered on the first ring and was at my home promptly in 15 minutes. Omar was incredibly kind, speedy and professional. I would highly recommend Mile High Locksmith if you are in a bind!

Mile high locksmith was awesome! Joe helped me in the sticky situation I was in. Someone had taken my coat from a party that had my only car keys inside. My phone was locked inside my car. Even though I couldnt give them an alternative phone number they still helped me out. As he was making me a new key the person who took my coat returned it!!! He then reprogrammed my old key for me for free. Joe was so nice and even charged my dead phone for me while he was fixing me a new key. A really sucky situation and he made it so much less horrible. Thank you Joe!!!

I called this morning and spoke with Tim at dispatch. He was very helpful in resolving my issue with the price discrepancy. He recommended I send an email to corporate (I did). Within ~20 minutes, Tim called back to let me know that I would be receiving a partial refund. I will only have to pay for their standard lockout fee. I am very satisfied with the companies attention to the matter and the professionalism with which it was handled. I would recommend this company in the future. Their willingness to listen to the customer and work towards a resolution that works for both parties shows me that they care about their customers and the services they provide.

I wanted to get a car key problem fixed and went there. They said that the dealers were ripoffs. My dealer wanted $70. These guys wanted $95! II needed it done so gave them my phone number. They never bothered to call back.

Not a good experience at all. Getting locked out of your car is nothing but stress, and this company did not help. I was told a $95 dollar price over the phone, but upon arrival the price jumped to $300 because my key needed a chip. I would expect the person over the phone to know that my car may need a chip since it is your job. Mile High Locksmith left me in a predicament where I either paid 20 for them driving to me and not doing anything, 95 for a key that unlocks the car but doesn't start it, or 300 for a working key that the locksmith assured me I couldn't find cheaper anywhere. As a college student, It's hard for me to make big purchases or waste any money, and Mile High Locksmith showed that they only have the intent to take advantage of their customers. However the new locksmith that just left gave me two keys, with chips, and a one year warranty, all cheaper than 300.

Very expensive, was given an initial quote before which seemed high, but I agreed. Then added an additional almost 300$ to the end price when done. I wanted to pay for with a card, but tech said it was too complicated and I wrote a check against my better judgement. I got done what needed to be done, but the cost was exorbitant. I don't understand all the extra charges and feel pretty taken advantage of.

Outstanding customer service! One of the model keys needed to make one of mine was missing, so David gave me the other one I needed for free and then gave me great walking directions to another nearby locksmith.

What can I say other than stellar service!! David hustled out to our rescue on a busy Saturday afternoon and still got to our house within 20 minutes after we first spoke! He was unbelievably polite and well mannered. After he introduced himself he set to making us a new ignition key to our jeep right there in the driveway with his mobile command center ;) Took only a few minutes and we were back on the road. I would highly recommend David and his team to anyone locked out of their ride or lost keys! These guys are A+ quality Will call them whenever we are in dire straits Thanks again David!! Life saver!!

I used them yesterday because I had to get new key on my condo unit and they were absolutely amazing! I sent them an email promptly at 2:00 and they called me within 2 minutes of me submitting that inquiry. They told me that they'd be at my place between 5 and 6 and they got there at 4:55 (I've never had anyone be early so that was SO shocking). Whenever the guy worked on replacing my lock - he was so polite, helpful and considerate. He explained everything that he was doing and was such a rockstar. I highly recommend using them for any of your lock issues in the future! What a fantastic company.

DO NOT USE!! I called to have someone come out this morning. First: the first person they sent broke down on his way after I waited over 30 minutes. No big deal, stuff happens. Second: the next guy arrives, looks at my car for two seconds and quotes me TWICE what I was expecting from my original phone call. Not really his fault, there's a standard $29 service fee for them to come out, then an 'open ended' $35 fee based on whoever comes out to unlock the car. The man who came out quoted me $90 on top of the service fee. I asked why it jumped from $35 to $90 and to his credit he was very honest and told me that they (the actual guys that come do the service) are told to charge at least over $100 to make it worth their time since they're paid by commission.. So it has NOTHING to do with the type of car or how difficult it is to unlock it, it's completely up to the discretion of whoever is performing the service. I called Triple A back to confirm and the woman was very rude and cut me off to put me on hold, once she realized I was an unhappy customer. So I decided to eat it and just pay up cause I needed to get to work. This brings me to number three: in the process of unlocking my car, the locksmith broke off a large 5-6 inch piece of the plastic appliqué on my door!! It was an accident but the initial reaction of the man was to 'give me a discount' or 'do the service for free'.. Which I can appreciate but I'm pretty positive it'll be over $100 to fix the door.. (Afterwards I called a body shop and I was correct, over $100 for the new part and labor). I called Triple A AGAIN and the woman (same one) was rude again and told me the locksmith should fix it while he's there (not possible, unless he taped it or glued it back on which would look ridiculous) so she 'took a message' and said to try back tomorrow and hung up. The locksmith also tried to get my husband to sign the receipt which stated the the signee was 'absolving the locksmith of any claims related to the service.' ..nice try. Overall, horrible customer service, and very subpar service. Maybe my experience was a string of unfortunate events, but there's no excuse for the customer service which made me feel like a nuisance, made no attempt to help me solve the problem related to their service, and initially set me up with an unrealistic expectation in the original quote (i.e. The $29 service plus the $35 'open ended' charge, which they knew would likely be more in the $90 range. False. Advertising.) definitely go with someone else.

Absolute horrible. If I could give this company less then one star I would. They sent out a guy in just a random card with no name tag or badge or anything to signify he was with the company but I was desperate so I thought ok fine. He then looked in my car windows to see what the security on my vehicle would be. Now when I called they had told me it would be $30 for the visit itself then anywhere from $19 and up depending on the security of the vehicle. So that was fine until he looked at my car and said it was $128. Now they ask you if this is an ok price before they even do the work so me being naive and gullible I say ya that's fine. Thanking it must be difficult to get into. My car is a 2007 and in hindsight I should have known that was ridiculous but that's my own fault. So to actually open my car all he does is stick an airbag in and pump it up a little and use a wire to open my door. Absolutely not $128 of Work on my car. I call the customer service after that and ask them why it cost so much? All they could tell me is that the tech who opens the car determines the price. So they have absolutely no matrix on how prices are charged or what certain vehicles could be estimated at and they let the tech do whatever he wants. I repeatedly asked to talk to a manager and was told the manager was out. After I finally got to talk to a manager they said you'll have to talk to the boss and he won't care because you agreed to the price before the tech did the work. So I said go ahead and let me talk to the boss, but of course he wasn't there either. My boyfriend then called to get a quote for my exact same car and they quoted him $65 from THE SAME TECH THAT HELPED ME. I'm amazed at the complete sexism and the fact that they took advantage of me because I know nothing about unlocking cars. This company is complete shit and they will take advantage of you if they can. Do not use this company.

Contacted them to get a quote to move a safe into our home that we purchased from a local merchant. After a nice man came by to verify site conditions and accessibility, Heather took 8 days to tell me they weren't interested in the job. What's worse, I had to call her for 2 days in a row to find this out. What a complete WASTE OF TIME!
